Swindon Town face season without Harry Smith after ACL rupture confirmed

A scan has revealed a rupture of the striker's anterior cruciate ligament. Smith was involved in a collision with Barnet goalkeeper Cieran Slicker on Tuesday night. Town will seek to sign a replacement.

Harry Smith has been ruled out of the rest of the League Two season with a major knee injury.

Smith was forced out of the midweek defeat by Barnet in visible pain, following a collision with Bees goalkeeper Cieran Slicker.

And a subsequent scan has revealed a rupture of his anterior cruciate ligament.
