Don Rogers Stand project will take six years to pay for itself, say Swindon Town as fan consultation period begins

As previously reported by The Moonraker, Hall confirmed that 450 hospitality seats will be created in addition to the corporate boxes. A total of 1,050 seats will be removed by the redevelopment. The net drop in capacity for the stand as a whole will be around 420.

Swindon Town are aiming for the Don Rogers Stand redevelopment project to have paid for itself within six years.

Initial concept designs for the project are currently in fan consultation, with the County Ground hosting a series of meetings with senior club figures and their chosen architects this week.

At the first of those meetings on Tuesday (April 22), chief executive Anthony Hall revealed that projected revenue from the corporate boxes, new hospitality areas, and non-matchday conferencing facilities would cover the cost of the development in little more than half-a-decade if all goes to plan.
