Standout performance in shuttle run challenge played major part in Jaxon Brown recall from Canvey Island loan

The Town manager's test features a series of 20-, 40-, 60-, 80, and 100-yard shuttle runs, inspired by the so-called 'Terror Tuesdays' training sessions conducted by his old boss at QPR, Gerry Francis.

Jaxon Brown's performance in his testing shuttle run played a major role in Ian Holloway considering the teenager for selection in his first-team squad.

Brown has spent a successful spell on loan at Canvey Island, playing 15 times and scoring six goals at Isthmian Premier League level, but was called back by Swindon Town this week.

The midfielder recorded the fourth fastest time Holloway has seen in his running challenge last week.
