Aaron Drinan out for the season with cruciate ligament tear as defensive injuries stack up again for Swindon Town

Drinan suffered the injury to his posterior cruciate during Town's 3-3 draw with Port Vale on February 8. He has been ruled out for between 10 and 12 weeks.

Aaron Drinan's season is over after the Swindon Town forward was diagnosed with a partial cruciate ligament tear.

Drinan suffered the injury to his posterior cruciate during Town's 3-3 draw with Port Vale on February 8.

He complained of soreness following the game, and struggled to walk, leading to Swindon sending him for specialist examination and subsequently for a second medical opinion.
