Swindon Town will wait for the results of scans to determine the extent of Billy Kirkman's knee injury, but manager Ian Holloway said "it doesn't look good".
Kirkman was forced off just minutes after coming on as a substitute during the 2-0 home win over Barrow on Saturday (January 18), and had to be supported by medical staff as he left the field.
The left-back has previously suffered a medial cruciate ligament injury, albeit in his other leg, and he indicated that the problem felt similar.
