Swindon Town are closing in on a deal for Grimsby Town forward Charles Vernam.

The 28-year-old winger is well known to Town manager Ian Holloway, who worked with Vernam during his year in charge at Blundell Park in 2019 and 2020.

He is expected in Wiltshire on Thursday (June 19) for a medical.
