Ryan Delaney is set to miss the start of the League Two season through injury.

The Moonraker understands Swindon Town’s medical department are targeting the Carabao Cup game at Crawley Town on August 13 as the first possible outing for the centre-back.

Delaney joined the club with an injury issue, having missed the final two months of last term with a knee problem while at Newport County.
