Aaron Drinan will miss Swindon Town's trip to Harrogate Town this weekend, and there are concerns the forward will be out of action for some time.
Manager Ian Holloway revealed Drinan has suffered a knee ligament injury.
The Town medical team have sent the Irishman for tests to determine the full extent of the problem. Holloway described the initial verdict as "not good", and a second opinion is being sought.
