Swindon Town role for Andrew Fitton still possible but no decision expected until at least November

Clem Morfuni and Fitton had another, private meeting on Tuesday (September 10), prior to the majority shareholder’s return to Australia. While nothing has been ruled out as yet by either party, there will be little progress for two months.

Talks between Clem Morfuni and Andrew Fitton over a potential role at Swindon Town for the former chairman remain ongoing, but no firm decision is expected until at least November.

Fitton has been a matchday guest of the club twice this season, and has held a series of conversations with Morfuni and Swindon chief executive Anthony Hall, during which a possible position as a PR and communications advisor has been discussed.

Morfuni and Fitton had another, private meeting on Tuesday (September 10), prior to the majority shareholder’s return to Australia.
