County Ground redevelopment set for two-phase approach, with Don Rogers Stand first in line for improvements

The Moonraker understands the scale and cost of the overall redevelopment of the rest of the stadium would be too vast to commit to without the venue’s revenues being given a chance to increase first, in a push towards sustainability.

The redevelopment of the County Ground is likely to be split into two main phases, starting with the creation of hospitality boxes in the Don Rogers Stand.

The Moonraker understands the scale and cost of the overall redevelopment of the rest of the stadium would be too vast to commit to without the venue’s revenues being given a chance to increase first, in a push towards sustainability.

However, as part of the terms of the purchase of the ground from the council, work to the tune of at least £1million must have begun within three years of the sale’s completion.
