Swindon Town confirmed on Wednesday (January 7) that the forward has since had an operation in a bid to aid his recovery. While Town the surgery went well, the German’s recovery period will be substantial.

Paul Glatzel is set to miss the remainder of the season after undergoing hamstring surgery.
Glatzel limped out of the victory over Cheltenham Town on December 29.
He has subsequently been examined by a specialist, with scans revealing a rupture of the tendon.
