Harry Smith set for return against Crewe after Ian Holloway opted not to risk striker at Meadow Lane

"He hasn’t had a chance to train [with the mask on], so he doesn’t know how painful it truly is," Holloway said after the loss at Notts. "He wanted to play but I didn’t feel that it was right, so I left him out."

Harry Smith is expected to be available for the visit of Crewe Alexandra to the County Ground this weekend, having missed the defeat at Notts County.

Smith broke his nose during an ugly clash of heads with Colchester United's Tom Hopper on New Year's Day.

Swindon Town manager Ian Holloway described Smith's nose as "like the M4" in the aftermath of the incident.
