Ian Holloway is expected to rotate his squad for the EFL Trophy visit of Tottenham Under-21s, with several of the Swindon Town youth team in line to feature.
Holloway’s first game in charge of Town ended in a 2-1 extra-time victory over Colchester United on Saturday, and with a trip to MK Dons coming up in League Two this weekend he is keen to balance the workload of some of his senior players.
Specific restrictions limit the scope of rotation available to Holloway, but a number of youth-team players took part in training at Beversbrook on Monday afternoon, and several are set to get a chance on Tuesday night.
