Swindon Town have further bolstered their midfield with the signing of James Ball following his release by AFC Wimbledon.

Ball played 21 times for the Dons last season, as they secured promotion to League One with victory over Walsall in the playoff final at Wembley.

A combative holding midfielder, he has also played as a centre-back, an attacking central midfielder and as a striker over the course of his career.
