The Moonraker is set to reach Swindon Town fans’ ears in 2026, with the release of a brand new podcast.

Rake The Moon will be available on Tuesdays from January 6, providing expert insight into events on and off the field at the County Ground.

BBC Wiltshire commentator Andrew Hawes will be joined by The Moonraker editor Sam Morshead to discuss transfers, tactics, the boardroom and much, much more besides.

The main show will be free-to-listen for all Town fans, with special episodes available only to Moonraker members.

Morshead said: “Next year promises to be a big one for Swindon Town, and it’ll be just as massive for The Moonraker as the site looks to broaden its size and scope.

“We feel there is a space in the current Town podcast landscape for a show that delves in depth into specific themes, and we intend to provide concise, digestible and contextual coverage of the club every week.

“The main show is available for everyone, but we’ll make sure to cater for all our amazing Moonraker members with Q&A episodes and special features.”

Hawes said: “It feels there's always something to discuss at Swindon, almost to a unique degree among the 72 league clubs.

“I look forward to reading runes, taking temperatures and adding to the discussion with Sam.”

Rake The Moon will be available on all good podcast channels, as well as being natively hosted on The Moonraker.
