A wide player remains part of Swindon Town's wishlist for 2024/25, and the former Chesterfield wing-back Jeff King made his case for a contract during Saturday's pre-season friendly against Wycombe Wanderers.

King, who has played both as a full-back and wide in midfield, won the National League title with the Spireites last season but was subsequently released.

The 28-year-old impressed in patches against Wycombe and could now become a permanent fixture in the Swindon squad ahead of the first game of the League Two season, at Chesterfield on Friday (August 9).
