Swindon Town say they will "continue to assist the FA with their inquiries" after a national newspaper claimed the club and manager Ian Holloway face an investigation over the appointment.

Holloway replaced Mark Kennedy at the County Ground last week, and formally began in his new role on Monday (October 28).

However, on Friday (November 1), The Sun said that the FA would look into the circumstances that led to him ending up at Town.
