Consider the bogey wiped.
At the 10th attempt, Swindon Town finally won at Whaddon Road. Steve Cotterill, Kate Thornton, Gustav Holst, Sir Geoff Hurst, 100,000 blokes in tweed jackets… your boys took a hell of a beating.
Swindon’s first away win of the season took their League Two points tally on the road this term to seven.
While the performances have not been memorable – the smash and grab at Chesterfield, the drudgery at Crewe, the slapstick at Barrow, the capitulation at Port Vale, the frustration at Tranmere – there is a trend emerging.
