Swindon Town’s first team sprang a knockout surprise away from home on Tuesday, now can the next generation make it two in a week?

Town’s youngsters travel to QPR on Thursday night (December 12), looking to reach the fourth round of the FA Youth Cup for the second season running.

And after a week in which they’ve seen three graduates make significant contributions to the senior side’s results, there is an extra wave of enthusiasm and belief rippling through the squad.

On Saturday (December 7), Joel McGregor, Harrison Minturn and Jaxon Brown all started in the 3-1 victory over Fleetwood Town at the County Ground. Three days later, McGregor was many fans' man of the match in the EFL Trophy upset at Wycombe Wanderers.
