Town have now conceded nine goals from dead-ball situations this season (plus a penalty) in 16 matches: the second worst record in League Two alongside Morecambe (10 goals plus three penalties).

Let’s talk about set-pieces.

Swindon Town’s fragility from corners and free-kicks has shown no sign of easing since Ian Holloway’s arrival, despite the new manager focusing heavily on the issue in training.

Town have now conceded nine goals from dead-ball situations this season (plus a penalty) in 16 matches: the second worst record in League Two alongside Morecambe (10 goals plus three penalties). They have also contrived to allow 63 attempts on goal from these passages of play.

For context, in 2022/23, the Robins shipped just 13 set-piece goals and three penalties in the entire league season.
