Ryan Delaney will not travel with Swindon Town to Salford City but the defender has not suffered any injury complications.

Delaney is still not ready for a full 90 minutes as he continues his rehabilitation from a serious knee issue, sustained while with Newport County last season.

Head coach Mark Kennedy would prefer to give the centre-back the chance to work in Wiltshire on Tuesday and Wednesday, rather than take the team bus to Greater Manchester and likely not be involved on matchday.

The 28-year-old made a nine-minute cameo off the bench at Cheltenham Town on October 12, having previously not featured for Swindon since September 7.
