Win at home, get what you can away: Point at Fleetwood took Swindon Town top of League Two... but would you know it?

Top of the league, but not really having that much of a laugh: Swindon Town’s day trip to the Fylde coast should have brought more smiles than it managed.

Fleetwood Town goalkeeper Jay Lynch had five times more saves to make than Connor Ripley over the course of the afternoon. Swindon enjoyed 58 per cent possession, completed twice as many passes as their opponents, and yet had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

This was the first time all season that Swindon had taken the lead in a league outing and not gone on to win. On each of the previous seven occasions, the Robins had seen an advantage through.
