The summer holidays may be in full swing, but for Jamie Russell this is hardly the time for a break.

The Swindon Town head of football’s Sunday involved a 10-hour round trip to Eastleigh.

On Monday afternoon, having spent several hours in the morning at Beversbrook scoping out the next steps of Town’s summer recruitment, he found time to spend an afternoon with The Moonraker.

In the evening, it would be straight off to the Royal Agricultural University in Cirencester, to oversee the under-15s.
