Will Wright is Swindon Town’s fifth summer signing, having left Crawley Town – and a shot at League One – to move to the County Ground.

Wright is expected to feature prominently for Swindon in 2024/25, as part of a three at the heart of defence.

Here, The Moonraker takes a look at the 27-year-old’s background, strengths, weaknesses, attributes and general character.

Wright is a relatively late developer in professional football. Having come through the system at Luton Town, he spent time in non-League with Biggleswade United and Hitchin Town before moving to Colchester United in 2017.
