On October 11, 1994, Swindon Town lost one of its favourite sons.

That morning, Kevin Morris had treated the first-team players as normal at the County Ground. It was a Tuesday.

In the afternoon, Swindon’s famous physio got in his car and never came home. He was 54 years old.

Morris’s suicide was a tragedy which had a considerable impact not only on his family and the players and staff at the club, but on the wider community as a whole.
