It’s just one game into the new season and Swindon Town are already contemplating being without talisman Harry Smith. So, how do they cover?

Smith ducked out of the warmup at Walsall last weekend after suffering from back spasms, and the issue has affected him throughout the week since.

The striker is expected not to be fit enough to start the game against Cambridge United at the County Ground on Saturday (August 9).

It would be a considerable blow for Town and their manager Ian Holloway, whose offensive strategies generally have Smith at their heart.
