If you’re a football agent, you may not be putting much hope in Swindon Town for a payday.

In the year to February 3, 2025, Swindon were among the most miserly of all English professional league teams when it came to expenditure on agents’ fees.

Town spent just £43,953 on the services of intermediaries during this period. Of the 92 Premier League and EFL sides, just four – Accrington Stanley, Bromley, Crewe Alexandra and Newport County – recorded a smaller outlay.

The Robins’ spend accounted for just 1.6 per cent of the cumulative total among the current 24 League Two teams.
