At the end of March, Paul Glatzel would have been forgiven for starting to worry about what the summer of 2025 would bring.

In the five months Ian Holloway had been in charge of Swindon Town, the German forward had made just five starts and completed 90 minutes only once.

Between January 4 and March 22, he managed a meagre 110 minutes, all off the bench.
