Swindon Town fans are walking away from their football club at a troubling rate, and the trend needs arresting before it becomes terminal.
Since the latter years of the Lee Power era, Swindon have been incredibly well backed in the early weeks of a new season.
An aggregate of 25,325 home fans flocked to the County Ground for the first three league matches of the 2021/22 campaign, not long after Clem Morfuni had claimed ownership of the club from Power through the courts.
