Swindon Town's January business reflects evolution of transfer window work during Clem Morfuni's tenure

Swindon Town’s early activity in the January transfer window points at a sense of coordination and preparedness which has not always been evident over recent seasons.
The Robins have already made two signings – the loan arrivals of Michael Olakigbe and Aidan Borland, seen Gavin Kilkenny pen a new contract, and are expected to bring in further players this month as they look to reinforce their squad for a League Two promotion tilt.
It has all been refreshingly proactive at a critical moment for the club, whose winter window work during the Clem Morfuni reign has meandered between uninspiring and chaotic.
