Bad news for Fletcher Holman, with the Swindon Town forward told he needs surgery on his hamstring injury.
Holman limped out of the Bristol City friendly after pulling up chasing a long ball, and was initially ruled out for at least 10 weeks.
However, having seen a specialist this week, the youngster has learned he will need an operation to help fix the problem.
Holman will therefore be out for at least three months, and perhaps as long as 16 weeks – one of two massive blows to the Robins on the injury front this week.
